Here are some great events happening in the fest:

- 15th November, Friday | 4:00 P.M. | WebEx - Confessions of a Witness: A Monologue Event
- 16th November, Saturday | 1:00 P.M. | WebEx - Evidence Unscripted: An Extempore Event
- 16th November, Saturday | 3:00 P.M. | WebEx - Mindhunter: A Quiz Event
- 17th November, Sunday | 1:00 P.M. | WebEx - Forensic Fables: A Storytelling Event
- 17th November, Sunday | 3:00 P.M. | WebEx - Prize Distribution Ceremony
General Rules
- The competition is open to participants of all ages and qualifications with an interest in Forensic Science.
- The Event is free of cost.
- Individuals must register before the event. Late entries will not be entertained.
- Participants must adhere to the code of conduct. Cheating or misconduct may result in disqualification.
- The winning and runners-up participants will receive E-Certificates.
- Plagiarism or offensive content will result in immediate disqualification.
- Participants must maintain decorum during the event. Disruptive behavior may lead to disqualification.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Orientation Ceremony
Mandatory for all participants to attend. General rules of the event will be explained. The theme of the fest will be introduced.
Crime Rhyme
A Poetry/Open Mic event where participants weave poetry around themes like crime, justice, truth, mystery, and investigation.
Guidelines:
- Time limit: 3-5 minutes per participant.
- Both English and Hindi languages allowed.
- Poems can be read or recited from memory.
- Props or minimal background music are optional.
- No foul language or plagiarism allowed.
Confessions of a Witness
A Monologue event where participants perform from the perspective of detectives, witnesses, suspects, or victims. The goal is to capture the psychological depth and moral dilemmas involved in forensic cases.
Guidelines:
- Time limit: 3-7 minutes.
- Solo performance only, without assistance or interruption.
- Participants can wear costumes with minimal props for dramatization.
- No foul language allowed.
Evidence Unscripted
An Extempore event where participants think fast, speak sharp, and solve mysteries with their words. They must deliver a 2-3 minute speech addressing forensic science or ethical dilemmas.
Guidelines:
- Topic will be disclosed on the spot.
- 1-minute preparation time after receiving the topic.
- Speech duration: 2-3 minutes.
- Reading from a script or paper is not allowed.
- No foul language allowed.
Mindhunter
A fast-paced quiz event testing participants on forensic techniques, crime history, real-life cases, and famous detectives.
Guidelines:
- Multiple rounds: Rapid-fire, MCQs, and Picture-Based Questions.
- Cheating or misconduct may result in disqualification.
- The Quizmaster’s decision will be final for all answers.
- In case of a tie, a special round will be conducted.
Forensic Fables
A storytelling event where participants narrate gripping stories related to crime or mystery—either fictional or inspired by real-life forensic cases.
Guidelines:
- Event is structured in two rounds:
- Round 1: Story Submission (350-500 words), due by 08th November 2024.
- Round 2: Live Narration (5-7 minutes).
- Stories must be submitted in PDF format.
- Shortlisted participants will narrate their stories live in the final round.
- Props or multimedia are optional for the live narration.
Prize Distribution Ceremony
The winners of all the events will be celebrated with Certificates of Merit and recognition in our Club Year Book and on social media.
